Social Media Guidelines

Twitter

Our team is available six days a week, working from 9am to 9pm Monday to Friday, and from 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. During our online hours we will respond to your tweets as quickly as we can. We try to reply to every tweet but this may not always be possible. Depending on the nature of the query, we may sometimes have to refer customers to other parts of the business in order to have it resolved.

If you tweet us outside of our online hours we will respond to you the following morning, or on Monday morning should you tweet us on Saturday evening. Alternatively you can call 1908 (lines are open from 9am to 9pm 365 days a year), complete an Online Contact Form or visit Customer Support.

The Virgin Media Ireland Twitter page is public, which means that anyone can see our tweets. Unless you protect your tweets anyone can see your tweets, and your tweets may even appear in search engine results (e.g. Google). You should be mindful of the information you publish online, and never include your account details or any other personal data in a public tweet.

While we are delighted to hear from our customers it is important to bear in mind that this is an open forum and opinions tweeted by other users do not necessarily represent the views of, or constitute advice from, Virgin Media Ireland.

If you no longer want to follow Virgin Media Ireland on Twitter after your query is resolved, please feel free to “unfollow” our account by clicking the “unfollow” button.
